Fashioning a greener world, one drop at a time
Fast fashion runs on shortcuts. KEP doesn't. Every stitch made at KEP Textile Atelier carries a double promise: dignity for the women who make it, respect for the planet that hosts it.
Take water. Our secret weapon is the Fine TRIPLEX rainwater filter. Three filters, one job: keep the water clean enough to use again.
Dirt, rust, that faint chlorine smell, all caught before the water ever touches a fabric. We swap the filters often. No shortcuts there either.
Water filtration
Triplex rainwater filter, reused across the production process
Solar power
The studio runs on solar panels, plus collected rainwater
Zero-waste fabrics
GOTS certified, biodegradable, recycled and repurposed materials
The sun does its part too. Solar panels power the atelier. Harvested rainwater fills in the rest. Less pulled from the grid, less pressure on local water.
Nothing goes to waste either. Offcuts get composted, or reborn as something new. Our materials follow the same rule: GOTS certified, biodegradable, recycled, repurposed.
Behind every one of these choices are the women who make them real. KEP was born in 2020 in İzmir as an NGO with one goal: train women facing real barriers, then open the door to a fair job. Since then, over 3,000 women have gone through our programs.
The ones who join the atelier get full insurance, fair wages, flexible hours, and a childcare space. Empowerment doesn't stop at a paycheck.
Every profit the atelier makes goes straight back to the NGO, funding the next round of training. One filter, one solar panel, one woman at a time, that's how we're rewriting what textile production can look like.
